Grateful Number 28: 27th August

I actually had time to finish making Mini some crawling / play / get muddy pants today.  The house is still a mess but I feel like I achieved something - hurrah!

Grateful Numbers 22 - 27: 22nd to 26th August

Grateful Number 22: 21st August

Our baby is partly potty trained! It's sooooo nice not to have to change super stinky nappies - especially in the reuseable ones!(Sorry that you are in the photo as well my love :-) )

Grateful Number 23: August 22nd
Despite the fact that we missed playgroup for the fourth time Mini had a big morning sleep and I got things done!

Grateful Number 24: 23rd August
It's Friday and I get a weekend with my boys!

Grateful Number 25: 24th August
I love my accupuncture relax sessions.  Such a good one today.  Big marks from the cups already though...  Had a lovely time with some of Mini's cousins and Grandparents this afternoon as well - Lots of fun at the beach.

Grateful Number 26: 25th August
We finally got to have a good chat to my bro and his wife and child in Sweden.  It was very exciting to see her baby bump.  Not long to go now....

Grateful Number 27: 26th August
Mini and I went to his Grandparents house today.  He had so much fun that he is asleep in the 2 1/2 hours later!

Tuesday 20 August 2013

Grateful Number 21: 20th August

Our baby is going to know where his food comes from.  I'm very grateful that our chickens are so placid and let him stick his little hands through the fence to touch their feathers.  It made his morning!

Gratefuls Number 15 to 20: 17th to 20th August

Grateful number 15: 17th August

Mini has a Dad who loves to get up with us on Saturday morning after a week at work and get into the pool with him for his swimming lesson.

Grateful Number 16: 18th August

This is the Sunday morning view from our house!  We've had two weeks of this now.

Grateful Number 17: 19th August

Mini slept for a lonnnnnnggggg time and so did I.  We got up at 7am.  Wow! What a difference such a good sleep makes.

Grateful Number 18: 20th August

I love the morning crawls/walks that Mini and I take after breakfast and before his sleep.  We say hello to so many people and he gives so many people a great start to their day when he waves his arms and kicks his feet with a huge smile on his face when a car drives past.  He has made even the "icy" members of our community smile and engage where they normal refuse to acknowledge anyone.

Grateful Number 14: 16th August 2013

We live near a national park wildlife sanctuary.  Mini met his first cassowary and tree kangaroo.  How amazing to be able to drive ten minutes and take him to such a place for an hour every couple of weeks.

Grateful Number 13: 15th August 2013

I am finally starting to tame parts of my garden after months of baby related neglect!  There are hours of weeding, mulching and pruning to go but at least it's starting to look like someone loves it again.  I'm starting to feel that I can give it love agin after looking dispairingly at it for so long.  Bring on spring flowers!

Grateful Number 12: 14th August 2013

I've missed a few days of recording my "gratefuls". It was definitely not the plan but I can't seem to catch up even though I thought of "gratefuls" every day. I have forgotten the ones from last week that I had not got around to recording.  I'll be happy that those "gratefuls" registered in my head and will start number twelve today.

Grateful number twelve - after two weeks of waking in the night my baby slept through again last night.  This means two things - we have broken the habit and he must be feeling better.  Hurrah!

Saturday 10 August 2013

Grateful Number 11: 8th August 2013

Still grateful that we live where we do.  We had another visit from the crazy goose this morning.  Mini and he chatted through the playpen and past the steps for minutes.  It was so exciting for him!  He then spent another large part of the day watching the kangaroos eating and resting in our garden.  We are blessed to live where we do.

Grateful Number 10: 7th August

I can receive a quick message from friends in the morning and ten minutes in the car and Mini is sitting here playing with his friends. So lucky! Check out our winter day as well!"

Grateful Number 9: 6th August 2013

No photo today... Grateful that our baby boy is starting to shake hi scold and we both had a full nights sleep. What a difference that makes!

Friday 9 August 2013

Grateful Number 8: 5th August 2013

The first of the jasmine has come into bloom even though it is the middle of winter!

Grateful Number 7: 4th August 2013

Our baby has a Dad who loves spending time with him.  They're good mates already and Mini calls for his Dad to get him up in the morning. :-)

oops!

I mentioned that I hoped I would be diligent enough to keep up with my "gratefuls".  Well I was in a sense - I have the photo's and had thought of many "gratefuls" but I didn't actually get around to posting them on here.  So here are lots posted on one day but thought about over many!!!

Saturday 3 August 2013

Grateful Number 6: 3rd August 2013

Our baby loves food! It must make such a difference having a baby who likes to eat almost anything that you put in front of him.  Broccoli is not his favourite food as it used to be but he'll still eat all the other vegies!  THank you Mini!

Thursday 1 August 2013

Grateful Number Five: 2nd August 2013

Mini was able to see a goose up closer than his picture book today.  A crazy white goose has moved into the village and has no friends! The kangaroos and the ducks won't talk to him so he's trying people.  He has a funny way of showing it though - he hisses and squawks so we stayed on the deck and watched him talk to us from a safe distance.

Grateful Number 4: 1st August 2013

My husband walked in that door a couple of hours after I took this photo and took our unwell baby for a while so I could clear my head.

Wednesday 31 July 2013

Grateful Number Three: 31st July 2013

Grateful that my husband got up with me in the night and set up the sofa bed so that I could feed our sick baby lying down and we could both get a better nights sleep.

Also grateful that I still have six chickens! Brownie (the black chicken)has made a full recovery.

Monday 29 July 2013

Grateful Number 2: 30th July 2013

We have woken up to a beautiful blue sky winter day.  I will get at least one load of washing dry today after sooooo much rain.

Grateful Number 1: 29th July 2013

The curls that are beginning to appear at the back of his head.
